  • correlating with SKS anisotropy directions

• defining properties of the asthenosphere
  • seismic asthenosphere and electrical asthenosphere correlate spatially
  • reduced seismic velocities (5%) and enhanced electrical conductivity (1-2 orders of magnitude) can both be explained by 1-2% connected partial melt
