2D inversion of 3D data:

• Can be done for a limited frequency band for an isolated body

• Must be sure that profile is over the body, and there is no “side-swipe” (arrrays!)

• Need to beware of coupling between the body and regional conductors

  • Okak Bay (Atlantic Ocean)
  • Trillabelle (regional conductive faults)
